How to fold a fitted sheet

Step 1. Hold the sheet inside out by the two adjacent corners on one of the shorter ends. Put your hands inside these two corners like mittens.

Step 2. Fold the corner in your right hand over to the corner of your left, so that one envelopes the other. With your right hand, then pick up the corner that’s hanging down in front of you, and fold it over the two corners already in your left hand.

Step 3. Pick up the last corner and fold it of the other three on your left hand. The sheet should now be right side out.

Step 4. Place your folded sheet on a flat surface and straighten it, tucking in the elastic edges all around.

Step 5. Fold the sheet into a rectangle. Then, fold it again until it’s the size you desire for stashing it away in the linen closet. Viola! Perfectly folded fitted sheets! Isn’t that fabulous?!
