Bathroom accessories do more than just serve useful functions. People simply don’t give it just due.
Accessories can really liven up your bathroom. That soap dish could do more than just hold that 3oz sludge of processed human fat. That mirror could do so much more for your ambience than just show you back your freshly-washed face. Think creatively while looking at bathroom accessories or even other home accessories and you just might come up with some cool new ideas. Here’s a few:
1. Colorful Towels
If your bathroom is clad in one of those generic neutral tones - white , beige and similar shades - colorful towels can change its look immensely. A color-filled selection of towels draped across the hangers can bring liveliness to your otherwise bland surroundings. Make sure to get good quality towels though- you don’t want those cheap ones that leaves colorful strands of fabric across your face. Eeek!
2. Curtain Calls
Shower curtains come in a wide variety of patterns and colors and can change your bathroom’s mood in drastic ways. You can turn it comedic with Disney patterns featuring Goofy or formal with exquisite emblems. Use fabric shower curtains for a refined tone and vinyl for a more informal atmosphere.
3. Art
You do know you can hang art on the bathroom walls, right? I, myself, have a Von Dutch pinstripe print and a Robt Williams print adorning my walls, framed in water-proof linings of course.
